In a world where we mostly see highlight reels and the authenticity of content is limited, we tend to be in the midst of constant comparison. 

But what we need to realise is that there is NO human who doesnt have down times in life, who doesnt compare, who isnt happy where they are in life, but doesnt know where, when or who to turn to

I know when in your in the depth of a down time, what im about to share sounds unbelievable or not true. But if im learnt anything about life as humans and how our life ebbs and flows… its that having good mental health isnt about how we handle ourselves in the times where we are glowing and feeling aligned and our best selves.

Its about how we give ourselves compassion and gentleness in the hard, shit and overwhelming times. 

Its about having trust in ourselves to know we have the capability to hold ourselves through the storm and to trust that our flow and alignment is around the corner. That if we are patient, kind and compassionate to ourselves through the chaos, the goodness of life will come back to us once we have trudge through the mud and learnt the lessons we need to learn. To learn and know we cant control things and to trust what is meant for us will work out and to feel the pain of when we have to let go of something or someone we love.

And make choices knowing the things you are overwhelmed by right now will pass as long as you hold yourself in your truth, values and with compassion xxx
